ACCESSIBILITY FOR PEOPLE WITH LIMITED MOBILITY : A FESTIVAL FOR ALL

EUROCKÉENNES’ RECEPTION AND SUPPORTING ARRANGEMENTS

The Eurockéennes Festival commits to making culture accessible to all, notably for people with disabilities by proposing appropriate reception and supporting arrangements.
Some thousand persons with disabilities are welcomed every year thanks to complete reception and supporting arrangements and specialized partner structures’ backing.

 

Before the festival :
Prepare your arrival to the Eurockéennes with the Departmental Home for Disabled Persons. Disability card owners’ attendants, mentioning supporting needs, can benefit from a free access* by sending a request to accessibilite[@]eurockeennes.fr

*subject to the number of available places

 

At your arrival on the festival :
Disabled parking spaces are located near the festival and served by adapted Optymo shuttles.
A shuttle for people with limited mobility, linking the campsite to the concert site, is also accessible on demand.

Come at the “Accueil PMR” front counter, in the reception tent at the festival entrance, in order to collect your “Eurocks Solidaires” bracelet for accessing to the disabled zones (PMR) and your attendant’s ticket, according to the information transmitted beforehand by the Departmental Home for Disabled Persons.
After your passage to the reception tent, you will be able to access the disabled entrance.

SERVICES ON THE CONCERT SITE

The Eurockéennes and its partner structures mobilize themselves to provide the following installations and services :

  • Appropriate and raised platforms in front of every scene
  • Audio induction loops linked to every scene
  • Appropriate pathways and access to the technical tarred way
  • Accompaniment for disabled persons in “joëlettes” and wheelchairs, provided by volunteers from the Departmental
  • Home for Disabled Persons and General Electric
  • Appropriate sanitation facilities

THE “ALL ACCESS” SPACE

The Eurockéennes and Malakoff Médéric provide you with a meeting space, called ALL ACCESS, where you can interact around artistic projects, mixing culture and disability :

  • French sign language bar (for all festival-goers)
  • Events (upcoming programme)

 

Resting and information space (accessible upon presentation of the “Eurocks Solidaires” bracelet) :

  • Technical assistance and electric wheelchair charging
  • Wheelchair and joëlette lending
  • Resting and medical care space
  • Appropriate sanitation facilities
  • Sign language translation
  • Festival program in Braille

Additionnal information :

A CAR PARK FOR PEOPLE WITH LIMITED MOBILITY

People with disabilities can park their vehicles in a reserved parking space, put at their disposal next to the festival site.

 

Its access is authorized to vehicles with a pass, delivered by the festival after sending the disability card photocopy.

A free adapted “Optymo” shuttle regularly goes back and forth from the P12 car park to the festival entrance.

Schedules (reservationless) : 

  • Thursday : from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.
  • Friday : from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m.
  • Saturday : from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m.
  • Sunday : from 3 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
